Did an opal with so much fire that it is 'hot' to touch. Fire in it any way you turn it, and it is NOT a doublet or tripplet. Simple made prong mount. Hate doing bezels. Burn 2 out of 5. There is fire even around the edges, but not on the back. Thanks for looking, Ken For sale on my etsy shop.

Thanks for the comments. The fire literally flows all over the surface when you move it. Ken

Very nice Ken. It's allot of work soldering all those little parts together. How do I find Your esty shop? Could You post a Link? Mike

Wow, that is one mighty fine opal! I like the mount you made for it also. The soldering work for making such items is something I am currently teaching myself to do. What gauge and type material did you use? Wire or sheet that you cut out? Thanks; Mike

Mike(spicerm), the link to my etsy us under my posts in the signature line. And, Mike(mc2) I used 16 ga. sheet and cut it out, filed it and bent it. Added the bail and split it. Ken
