That gary green must be top grade, it looks like morrissonite, it's gorgeous. The first wildhorse is also eye-catching.

VERY nice work and a nice assortment of materials!
I've only made 4 picks out of Brazillian Agate and found it difficult to cut slabs thinner them 1.5 mm.
How thick are your picks?
Thanks for posting the photos!

Those are awesome. I can't imagine cutting the stones that thin. Those stones are stunning as well.

Those are amazing!! Can you actually use those to play with? I don't play guitar myself, but I have some friend who do and I would love to try my hand at something like this if they would actually be able to use them.
And to echo a few other people, how thin are they?
Awesome, awesome, awesome work!!

Nice job on all of them. I especially like the tiger eye and turtleback ones. Makes me think of the song "Guitar Man" by Jerry Reed. Garry

Glad everyone like them, thanks. As for thickness, anywhere from 1mm- 3.5 mm. The thinnest one I made was .75mm Jazz Wild horse. Yes they do work very well. My costumers say(i have never held a guitar) the sound is more vibrant and clear than plastic. They can really attack there strings with no clicking sound or flex. If you plan on making a few Use a Brazilian, there fool proof and the easiest to do.

bushmanbilly, Thanks for the reply. I agree with you about the Brazillian agate. It's pretty solid, tough material.

mossyrockhound,,, Jerry Reed used a "thumb pick" for the most part but I'm not sure if he used that type or a "straight pick" for The Guitar Man!
Jerry was a VERY accomplished guitar player and was also a good friend of the late Chet Atkins.
