This is a necklace I did recently. The pendant intarsia is made up of: Turquoise, Rhodochrosite, Gold lip pearl shell & ruby in Joezite (not much ruby but I liked the green). With a synthetic ruby set into the Turquoise. The leaves are carved Kingman Turquoise. It is mostly symetrical but I like to throw in one ellement that is not. So I added the one offset silver leaf at the top as a counter point. It was a fun excersize in stone fitting & I didn't have any thing else to do. I get bored with just doing cabs. So I like to challenge myself to do things I haven't tried before. I hope you like it & thanks for taking a look. Mike First the pieces ground ready to be joined & polished [/img]

Thanks all for you kind comments. I really like challenging myself. I encourage all of you to do the same. You never know what you can do till you try. If you say "I can't do that" then you never will. I'm completely self taught. You learn more from your misstakes than your successes. Mike

Stu a couple of days. Not that long really. Be my guest on the picture. I'm very happy if I can inspire others to give new things a try. Mike
