My question is how to tell if it's silver round wire or silver solder. I inhiereted some from my dad and the easy, med, and hard tags were on some but not on all. I'm suspecting the ones not marked are silver but, I just don't know. Dead soft silver and solder are about the same as far as maluability. Is there a way I can test for which is which so I'm not using solder to make wraps with? lol
Any advise would be appriciated....Thanks

Did I post this in the wrong place? Didn't see a board pertaining to this kind of question.

I think the easiest way would be by melting a snippet of each....silver goes at a higher temperature than solder does.
