Look! It actually worked! I used the looping around the wire before weaving and it worked! Woot! This is just the moon, but since it took three hours I'm quitting until tomorrow lol Thank you everyone for the critiques and advice! We finally made the weaving look good I must be slow lol, probably it doesn't usually take so many people to teach one person to weave. But we made it regardless! Woot! What do you think?

I think there's not much that you can't do with wire. Very cool

The moon is perfect. On the first one, tighten up the wraps. Also, why did you use a heavier wrap on the right side. In my opinion, it will make it look off a little when you put the moon back. Your weaving looks great. I will not even attemt a weave. Ken

Krista, it's not just the beautiful wire work that you are producing but the work ethic that you are putting into this. The amount of wire that you have used and willingly scrapped all for attaining something that will stand up to your own expectations. WTG!

Because this one has been such a pain in the rump I've been only working on it every few days. So any little progress I make I'm posting - Krista

I think you did a fantastic job!!! Original and very artistic, beautiful!!!
The only thing that I see that you might consider on your next one is near the top on the right hand side it seems like your weave got a little loose and spread out. Most people will not notice it so I feel that it isn't drastic enough to take away from the beauty of the piece, gives it that hand made feel, but something I myself would make note of had I made it. That way in the future I would try and keep all the weaves tight and even....there's my two cents

That is an awesome piece, you did super duper!! The only thing that I see is the fact that you made the bail going the wrong direction sooo are you going to add a nice large jump ring, maybe the same wire as the frame? That is the only thing that needs to be tweeked.
WTG,
Tammy
