2011/2012 Roaming Wire: Round Two!
Hello, hello, here it is the second go round of roaming wire 2011. If you’re just joining my name is Krista DeSelms known as Upsided0wnducks on the forums. I’m the host of our roaming wire ‘round here which is just a whole lot of fun!
The last round we definitely beat my expectations for how quickly we could finish. We wound up with 17 people and it only took us from March 30th to October 17th! That’s less than 7 months! That is an average of less than 12 days each! Two days quicker than the allotted two week period, great job everyone!
Onto business
PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE JOINING THE GAME!!!
As moderator I start the game, I send a finished wrap and three unwrapped cab to the first person, they in turn keep the finished wrap, wrap one of the three unwrapped cabs then send their finished wrap and three of their own cabs onto the next person. This goes on until it gets back to the last person on the list, me!
To keep this moving there is a time limit, once you get your package you have 14 days, two weeks that is, to wrap it and get it in the mail to the next person!
To keep this I’ll have our list be flexible. Before the person who’s ready to send their wrapped and unwrapped cabs sends them the next person in line is to be contacted first to make sure they’re ready and have time to wrap and send the next package. If they don’t, they’ll move into the on deck position and go to the next person up.
Once you’re received your package please photograph the wrap sent to you and post pictures on the thread so everyone can ooo and ahhh the piece. Give credit to those who wrapped it and say thank you!
This is a game for only wire wrapping, please stick to that.
Please try your hardest to make the wraps nice and neat so that everyone feels they got a nice quality piece.
Please make sure the stones you send are cabochons and natural stones.
Please send a note with the package saying what all the stones are so people know what they’re getting!

(I swear I will not spam you, or give your addresses to anyone every except the person sending you the finished wrap and cab.) If you have a preference of where in the list you’d like to be (beginning, middle, end or a certain month you know you’ll have time) let me know that too and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
• Receive your new pendant and unwrapped cabs.
• Wrap one of the cabs and find/make/buy three beautiful cabs to send within your 14 day period.
• Message me (Krista DeSelms/Upsided0wnducks) that you’re ready to send your package and I’ll give you the name and address of your recipient.
• Mail package.
• Then it starts all over again!
Please voice any concerns or questions and I’ll do my best to remedy and answer!
When we get at least 10 people on the list I’ll send out the first package with one of the stones Gerard sent me from the last game!
