All sorts of crap. I like working the plumes best, they're always neat. The first cab was cut from a chunk that I received from Ralph and Maryann.... Graveyard point plume agate Green zebra agate...... Red lace.......

Love the zebra and red lace. Also love that you don't hide those beauties behind bunches of swirly dodads.

Really like the zebra, but they are all great stones. Awesome work on the wraps as usual.

Love the Graveyard back-lit. The others have neat colors too and show the stones themselves a tad little better.

They are all nice but that first one really does it for me. I think it is because of the gold wire and the gold plumes

I like those wraps! Your combination of large and small curls looks good. I am going to have to try twisting the wires that make up the bail also, that looks great!

Gorgeous wraps Randy - how do you get your swirls so perfect?

Post by Bikerrandy on Nov 16, 2011 18:05:44 GMT -5
I do a lot of the swirls totally by hand, no tools. The next time Jo (naturenut) comes this way, maybe I can get her to help me with some videos, one of me doing these swirls. The biggest thing with these is knowing how long to cut the wires so that the swirls end up in the right place. This comes with practice, after doing so many you'd be able to do it without thinking about it.
