I never noticed that but I have to agree with you Randy. This material I mine out of the Greenhorn Mountains tends to have this honeycomb pattern in it . When you find large "comb" centers it produces a 6 ray asterism if cut correctly. A heart I cut last year had an "eye" right in the center.
