Thanks John, I saw that belt flopping on the video. I just have to snug the motor up a bit. I'm left handed, so I figured a guard might be a good idea. Nate

The raised rims common on saw tables keep coolant from running off but also restricts the size of slab you can trim. The groove around table would work if the saw is level.
