Petrified wood stump my sweet husband brought me. I think he is getting into the rock hunting as well. I'm really stoked now I just need to find a place for it. In the back of his truck

Tammy, can you train my wife the same way you have your husband trained ? She goes out to Rapid City twice a year with her mother, and brings me leaverites. The land of Fairburns and TeePee's, and all I get is leaverites.

ROTF ;D Stumpy my family would probably agree with you. not too sure what I am going to do with it..... and it's already got a rope but I'm not sure I could wear it as a pendant I already have a bad back and don't think I could pick it up...lol. they had to use a crane to get it off the truck and about 6 men to put it in. I love looking at it though.

WOW Tammy!!! That is incredible!! It looks like you have opalized parts at the roots too, how beautiful!!
Are you going to make a coffee table out of it? If you can flatten the smaller part and flip it upside down so the thicker part is face up under the round glass table sheet (with some opalized rock showing), that would look crazy cool!!

That is incredible! Beautiful piece and no wonder you just like to look at it.... I'd say put it in the center of the living room as a obje de arte! Then you could see it whenever you liked! :-)
