cause I was wondering
do they make wet belt sanders
and vibrating sanders?
ya know like they use in wood projects?
anyway Garry its wonderful piece of work

Thanks Ed. I imagine you could find belt sanders or vibrating sanders that you could use for something like this, although I'm not aware of any specifically made for lapidary work. I just used an expando drum with 3-inch belts for my sanding for this piece. John of Johnsgems would probably know about different kinds of sanding units available. Maybe we can meet someday - I'd be glad to show you my collection.
