Love the look of this material. Will have to ask our guy in Indonesia if he has some to offer.

I heard that Indonesia had banned the export of raw materials, if you have a guy please let me know, I'd like to talk. Sent from my phone.

Would have to ask about export regulation. But don't think so, they would bankrupt themselves as china and Taiwan account for at least 40% of their economy. China is certainly not buying finished products.
I'm going to talk to him later today anyway as we are finalizing a parcel og IGS and Pawancawa. Then I shall ask if there are restrictions relating to palm-root.

As long as your asking, east java plume Agate, fingerprint jasper, bumblebee jasper, bamboo Agate, there are more but I'm not remembering...

Yikes, thanks for the reminder.
Had completely neglected this post. Had asked our guy, and he confirmed that only few rough stones pose a problem for export. None of your named ones are among them.
Yet having said so, a few months after this post, in July, he vanished without a trace from the net, and has yet to resurface. We where in progress of putting a rather interesting box of unique pieces together, and those are the only pictures missing in his gmail account, where otherwise every other picture is still there. So I truly hope; he did not get into trouble for trying to sell something that could possibly be on the list.
Indonesia is still the Wild West (OK, East, in that case). Its very hard to get reliable partners as it seems, and prices are way to high on average. Couple that with relative small quantities for a lot of very attractive material and you got yourself a Russian roulette with every single piece you decide to invest in. Sometimes you win, often you loose. I liked my odds with the guy we where in contact, I feel I won 10 out of ten, and hence I'm hesitant try someone else.
