@sshotgunner, if I made a sphere it would have a flat bottom so it wouldn't roll!

@sshotgunner, if I made a sphere it would have a flat bottom so it wouldn't roll! I hope @sshotgunner is a typo! It needs a hyphen for readability. @ss-hotgunner rofl Do it, make a sphere with a flat bottom! Do it!

Not going to happen. A thought: if you faceted a sphere, you could have the best of both: a sphere and a flat bottom so it would stay put! You could just facet the bottom third. Sounds pretty to me.

Pat - If I faceted a sphere? My spheres are faceted. With one single facet! It covers the entire surface.

@shotgunner, like some wine glasses --- no facets on the top 75%, but multiple facets on the bottom by the stem. You could use bigger facets and one flat one on the bottom.
I can't be the only person who would like a flat non-rolling bottom on my spheres! Well, I don't have any spheres, but if I did I would like one with a flat bottom! We're in earthquake country! We have a cat, and we/ I bump into things...
