Great job on the dino bone! Have you had any luck self collecting any in Colorado? I have been to several prospective areas in western Colorado, but though I find lots of agate and Pet Wood I have yet to find any bone that I know of.

I've never found dino bone, I'm too worried about going to jail or getting a fine for collecting it (generally illegal on public land). There are some places in Nebraska that I'm going to go pay to dig, but that would be for specimens not to cab. I know a lot of bone comes from Utah and I'd bet there's plenty here in Colorado too but I've not done the homework to know where to get it.

Yea I don't think I would want to collect anything remotely resembling an intact bone. I was thinking more of small agatized fragments. I would have to notify the proper authorities if I found any dinosaurs.
