I just finished this pendant and ear rings to match a large oval ring I made for a friends wife last year this time. Damb picture shows every single flaw, truly better in hand, honest LOL. It really cool to have slabbed the rock right up to the silver work. Its a boring oval but what I was commissioned for. Just out of curiosity what would someone sell this for at a fair price. the pendant is 30 by 40 in 24 gauge silver. Thanks for looking The ring from last year.

Nice TigerEye!
Pricing is in the mind of the purchaser, which is a very strange place.
Some KNOW the value others place on an item and must pay below that amount. Others BELIEVE the more they pay, the more the item is worth.
Read "The "E" Myth by Michael E. Gerber chapter 17 "The Irrational Decisionmaker."
Most businesses use the Keystone Principle: Buy a rough diamond for $50, cut it for $50 labor, sell it for $200, jobber sells it for $400, etc.

Tom that's a beautiful set and a job well done! I know EXACTLY what you mean about the darn camera catching EVERYTHING! LOL I don't sell anything so I don't know squat about pricing. I will say that a lot of people are wrapped up in "Walmart Pricing" and think they can buy the same jewelery as we make for much less. connrock

Depending on your locality, it should sell for $125 to $150 at least. Nice job, and yes, the camera always shows every tiny detail:-( I use 18 to 20 ga for backing and usually 28ga for the bezel. Most of the time I also hand form the ear wires and always make a neat bail. I do a lot of Native American designs and dress up my pieces with twisted wire, silver beads and fancy saw/file work Not many of us that do the silver work and cut and polish our own stones

Photos that close are telling me you make little error. Great craftsmanship.

Very elegant set! The things you call "flaws" are for me the personal touch that make these objects really "hand-made". And I know how much less are they visible in real compared to these close up pics.

Very nice indeed.
I do not improve my photography and for that reason alone my stone work stays top notch. Jim
