Merry Christmas all. My customer picked up the ring and pendant yesterday and was a happy camper with how they turned out. My camera doesn't handle shiny silver well and wigs out it's little electronic brain. I even made a nice light box to use, but can't adjust the white balance on the camera. The pendant is BIG! 45mm long including the bail. His wife likes big jewelry The ring is angled on the ends, but the camera made it look lopsided [img src=" i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y487/ki6bcc/mampend4_zps1e98c364.jpg" alt="" src="" style="max-width:100%;"]

Thanks Fossilman. I love to work with fossils of all sorts and do many pieces with Dino bone, Ammonites, Trilobites, Coprolite, Mammoth Ivory and any other fossil I can get my hands on that makes unique jewelry. Once in a while I find time to work with Turquoise, Agates and some pretty cool stuff like Charoite, Opal, Pietersite and Sugilite Finally got another halfway decent pic of the pendant from another angle

Those really came out sweet! Did you slab the tooth yourself?

Those really came out sweet! Did you slab the tooth yourself? Thanks. No, I get my material from a guy that makes custom pistol grips and knife handles, so he slabs it and even dyes some of the material. This is natural color though

I like them! Great job! It's a really cool pattern on the mammoth tooth. Is that serrated bezel material?

I like them! Great job! It's a really cool pattern on the mammoth tooth. Is that serrated bezel material? Yes, it is 3/16ths tall 26ga bezel. I used 22ga for the back and two strands of 16 ga wire twisted for the rope. Even though this was a very large pendant I did not make a cutout in the backing to conserve silver. The only time I do that is when I am mounting a stone the light can pass through Thanks to all for the great comments

Really like that pendant. The serrated part adds a nice touch to it. Also like that twist design. It all flows nice. Very cool piece.

Radio...very nice set...What kind of rock? Charlie The material is Wooly Mammoth Tooth. I have several pieces mostly cut with the elongated enamel and dyed different colors. This is natural color and the silverish circles really make a striking pattern. Another popular color was the Purple. I made several rings, pendants and bracelets with that and it sold very quickly. I'll see if I can find a pic and make a new post
