If you hit "reply" and not "post quick reply" there is a little button for images. Click that button and paste the image url into the form. Click OK and you are set.

I think you may have hit the "link" button and not the little picture frame button.
I used
]img[
and
]/img[
with the brackets reversed to enclose the img

Pat Sorry I'm a slow thinker these days. About oval jump rings - How about making your normal round spiral, then tightening the spiral lightly (or tightly) in a vise until the desired dimensions appear. Write down what you did so you can repeat it next time you need more. Sometime I plan on braiding a copper, brass and silver wire, draw it through a half round draw plate, wrap it around a largish mandrel say a half inch, then cut them apart and offset the ends and solder them on to pieces as fancy bales. EDIT: from side, shaped like 9 with a straight leg to solder on back and top of the piece.

1dave Haven't tried the vise idea. Thanks for the idea. @shotgunner, now go to urbanmaille.com and feast your eyes.

I don't do a whole of rings, but when I need an oval, I squish a round ring with these pliers from Rio Grande. They are wide with grooves in both sides which keep the rings from shooting out of the pliers.
