Thanks for the links! I've only done VERY little etching with sea salt/water and a "D" battery.I tried some of the things suggested for resists but they all just came off during the etching process. I ended up using a white "paint marker" but the "paint' is very thick so it's hard or impossible to do any detailed work with it. I'm not really into etching so I don't want to spend money on a better resist right now. You mentioned doing copper repousse. What have you done with it? I've done a few pieces and I really like doing it but my left hand falls asleep while trying to hold the tools!I had a carpal tunnel operation on it but it still falls asleep!Grrrrrrr!Old age stinks! Most of the tools are only 1/4" in diameter so I put different thicknesses of rubber hose on them to make them a bit easier and more comfortable to hold.

Thanks for the links! My connection has been really terrible the last few days, so I saved it on my computer when I could finally open the links. Those will be real handy, though I think I could make a tank easy enough.

This would be neat in the jamesp brass and copper tag jewelry style. Make a "dog tag", use a sharpie to draw a symbol or cartoon on it, etch it and it is ready to be sold!
