This is almost done. I have final finish work to do and I want to take off the bail and add a beaded necklace but I had to buy the beads I wanted- some lepidolite. I'm thinking to add a patina, too. This is my 9th piece. I added some pierce work on the back and stamped it .925. I want to order a stamp with my name, too. After the tenth, I'll quit posting them all. Posting has been fun though- even I can see my progress. Sorry for the crappy pics. The stone looks much better in person. I don't want to take the good pics till the necklace is done. You can see in this picture that one of the beads rolled when the solder settled, but it was ok cause I wanted to file the other side some more anyway. It all worked out. Next time, I'll use a punch where I want the bead to go. Thanks for looking and putting up with my new addiction.

WOW!!!!!!!! just your 9th silversmithing piece? ? It looks as though you have been doing this for a much longer time. You are a natural and your designs are very refreshing from the usual. I can't wait for your photo's of your 10th piece. Then the 11th, 12th and etc........... The bead that rolled, I can't tell which one......even if I could tell which one shows it's a one off and is not the cookie cutter pieces one sees most times. You are better than best at this, 39don

Beautiful work! Something even a man would wear too. Sometimes pedants just look too girly but here, the color, cab shape and mounting look to be very unisex. I'll bet your work is very popular....Mel

Didn't think I'd ever see it, but I believe your new-found silver smithing talents are beginning to give your wire wrapping talents a run for the money. Splendid job on all of them. Keep them coming, you are inspiring!

Friends, thank you all very, very much. Those words are wholly inadequate to describe my gratitude. Being so new to this makes it hard for me to know if I am doing as well as I hope I am doing. Your feedback is so helpful and I really appreciate it. You've all made my day.... as I start my next Montana agate piece.

The only 'bad' thing about your pictures is that I want everything you make.

Beautiful. It looks a bit medieval. Like Mel said, that is definitely something a man could wear with pride. And the figure-8 bail is cool!

Great metal work. I know that tasteful new designs like yours will put you in another category Tela. That piece will be irresistible to potential buyers. And i bet people will visit your site to see the new styles you have. If you can do that quality of metal work you can certainly show off your fine creations.

I already ordered beads for this, but I'm thinking I might just leave them off and go with the infinity bail. I'll know when I get them. It's always a crap shoot ordering beads on ebay. They may just turn out to be crap.
