With the new 301 blade in place my saw is running a lot these days. I'm going through a large stash of rough I've accumulated over the few years I've been doing this and tonight I ran into a 3-4# chunk that I think is Owyhee, although I will happily stand corrected if someone knows better. Here are the slabs: and another angle: It's very hard, very solid and looks like it will take a great shine. There's not as much blue as I'd like but there are a lot of nice nuanced colors in the pieces so I think there will be some nice cabs coming from these. Thanks for checking it out!

Nice slabs. They all can't have blue and yes there are some great tones of brown that speak as well as the blue. Tom

Crosses came to my mind when I saw those slabs, mighty fine slabs.

Those are Owyhee, probably Succor Creek variety.
Nice slabs...................Tony
