For Ed mohs -
And who wants to dance?
I'm not as old as some, but I still remember the Honeymooners! Music "Goody Two Shoes" by Adam Ant. Someone did a great job splicing that in!
Would have added "All She Wants to Do is Dance, by Don Henley, but jamesp already got that one!
Keep on rockin', and keep 'em coming!

rockpickerforever we posted at the same time. One of my favorite songs is that Kinks song. It's one I always end up playing when I am jamming. Chris Isaak makes me melt. LOVE his voice. Did you ever see the short lived tv show that he had? edit- just finished the Honeymooners bit! Laughed my butt off- that was solid GONE!

Tela, Jean, Ed, Dave are the most serious of music junquies(sp like rockjunquie). Dave mostly as he has the most experience. Imagine making cabs to this song. There is a difference between 70 years experience and one year's experience repeated 70 times. Amazing how music can change the world around us!

1dave, my dad used to sing Splish Splash to me and my brother when we were younger. ROFL! YES! Jan every one of those are in my TOP TWO! Everything Bobby Darin, the Big Bopper, and Roy Orbison did is my favorite! And that is my Nancy Sinatra Favorite too! Did you ever come across the Bopper's version of the Preacher and the Bear? I think he released it just before he died with Buddy Holley and Richie Valens.

My favorite Big Bopper song, and particularly liked this presentation on the Dick Clark Show. He is so animated!
For jamesp (aka Mr. Hollywood):
And can't forget this Lou Reed song (with long intro)
Dave, Tela and Jan, you're coming up with some great ones! I'll dredge up more later. Jean
PS - Tell me when you want me to quit...

I love Collective Soul rockpickerforever. Their rise to success was an accident. Somebody stuck their failed recording in a player at a music producer's party. Apparently it got their attention and they were called to reassemble the band. Got their music start playing at a church/public school in McDonough GA(S. Atlanta).

I had no idea of that, James. And from your neck of the woods, what are the odds? It was just a song I like. Thanks for the story!

Iron Maiden "Run to the Hills"
White man came across the sea, He brought us pain and misery. He killed our tribes, he killed our creed, He took our game for his own need.
We fought him hard, we fought him well, Out on the plains we gave him hell. But many came, too much for Cree, Oh will we ever be set free?
Riding through dustclouds and barren wastes, Galloping hard on the plains. Chasing the redskins back to their holes, Fighting them at their own game. Murder for freedom, a stab in the back. Women and children and cowards attack.
Run to the hills, run for your lives. Run to the hills, run for your lives.
Soldier blue in the barren wastes, Hunting and killing for game. Raping the women and wasting the men, The only good Indians are tame. Selling them whisky and taking their gold, Enslaving the young and destroying the old.
Run to the hills, run for your lives.
Judas Priest "Victim of Changes"
Rush "Temples of Syrinx (w/ overture)
Nazareth "Beggars Day"
