I seen a craigslist listing today for a local pawn shop that was listed as "rock tumbler". After looking at the listing and realizing there was no tumbler I figured I would stop by to tell them how to list it better and maybe I would make an offer on the trim saw that I seen in one of the photos. I tossed out a very low ball number for the saw and all the rocks in the pile and they went for it without even countering. This is the fourth one of these exact saws I have bought but I sold the rest. I have regretted getting rid of them so I'll keep this one. Solid cast aluminum and built in the 1960's about 5 miles from my hometown. over twenty pounds of this stuff. maybe dentric opalite? A few slabs This looks local to Michigan with copper in it. I read this as "novaculite" but when I google it that is not what it looks like This rare snowflake mohawkite might be worth more then I paid for the whole purchase . Thought of rockjunquie when I seen this stuff. nice piece of blue lace agate, leland blue, chrysoprase, and rose quartz The original owner made rings so there were a bunch of small ring size cabs. most are upside down in the photo. Anyone have a use for 100 tiny cabs? This piece has a label that says pink ruby 140 carats for $7.00 (any idea about this one?) Not sure what this one is in matrix. amber color specimen box misc. specimens and garnets cutting size rough tumbling rough 4 pounds of moonstone? There were also about 8 pounds of apache tear rough I forgot to photo. The only item I left there was this flat lap. Its a great unit but I have one I use and two spares already Thanks for looking Chuck

I could use the little cabs if you haven't found a home for them yet.

Only thing I have seen in pawn shop here was a Home Depot tile saw for same price as new. Ditto...but might I add, I found abused tile saws for the same price as HD new ones.

TOUCHDOWN! Sounds like it was more a candy store for you than a pawn shop!
