Wow
I get a crime mappers dot com email with recent crimes in my town. They average 1-2 arrests a day. Some with 3-4-5 charges.
In the month I have been following this, there has been one crime of violence. Assault on an executive peace officer. Must punched a sergeant.
All the rest are drunk or drug related. Paraphernalia... controlled substance... vandalism...
I guess I have to be glad, I live where I do! Detroit, you suck!

10 people shot in how many square miles? I admit that seems excessive. But still, I doubt they was killing random folks. But instead targeting specific people or groups. I am glad you made it home safe. My mom lives in what they call downriver Detroit in a town called Trenton Mi. Thank god for that. There is more crime than even makes the news in Detroit proper. There are car jackings and robberies taking place on the streets that lead to the casinos. Hell, one night my wife and I left the casino to go home to Toledo where I lived at the time. To make a long story short, we were followed by two men who were parked near the exit and they followed us to the first stoplight right before the interstate. It was late and I figured something was up with these guys so I was watching their every move in the rear view mirror. The minute we stopped at the light, both the doors in the car behind us popped open and out jumps both the driver and the passenger headed for our car. Well, they probably didn't know I was watching them and I caught them by surprise when I floored the car and ran the light, making my way onto the maze of e-ways near the casino and heading south on I-75 before they even got back in their car I'll bet. Needless to say, that was our last trip to any casino in Detroit. I rarely go into Detroit for any events but when I do I always treat traffic lights as 4-way stops. I will not sit and wait for a light if I don't have to. The other safety trick is to never stop right behind the car in front of you. Always leave enough room to go around them if you get that unsafe feeling. Chuck

Stopping a distance behind the car in front is just good practice. I would have been stuck behind a broken car, but for I left room to go around.
I used to go to South Central los Angeles when it was bad. Often. Never had anything like Rick described...

I was wifey's hero that night. I am sure that you wereher hero many other times too.

no you get to like any music you choose. Speaking of liking music, if you like countryish stuff why not go give my one professionally filmed music video I made a few years back a thumbs up. Yep, I'm the singer and I wrote the song. We had a ball shooting it. Bad health (and lack of talent) has since forced my retirement from the music business. I actually recorded that song on my own playing all the instruments and singing all the parts in a multi track recording studio. My fictional "band" was four friends from where I had a day job who agreed to play the parts of my band mates in the video. None of them ever even held a guitar or drumsticks before we shot this. They all said to me afterwards that it was probably the most fun they ever had. The bearded guy on the left was using a custom guitar that I built and I was using my customized Telecaster copy. All of my "singing" in the video was really lip synced to my recording. I guess you can advance to the next round.

I like the song. It does look like you all had a lot of fun filming the video. I found the clip of the Hardcore Pawn show, but I had to go on YouTube and scroll through a ton of your videos to find it. It did not pop up in the four videos after your video you posted here. I wonder how many of the people on Pawn Stars are actors.
