Not a place like that around here. Looks like a time eater. I could easily lose hours in there.

I love junk places! Industrial wouldn't be my first choice, but I'd check it out! Dumps don't let you snoop around anymore, and they pile dirt on top and turn it over all day, AND they make you too much!

Yes, Dayton has a place like that. They buy out shops, stores whatever. It's 3 stories. The motor section is a complete floor of its own. Every AC or DC motor you could ever want. Maybe a million motors and that may be a understatement. That's where I got my diamond lapping pads...cheap Crazy place

The very large mics are 20" maybe? Might use them one time in your life, if your lucky.

TommyThose rings are drop forged, weight lift tested and dang expensive. Used for lifting. I wish they were cheaper. I did buy a string of 8 inch link ship chain at scarp weight prices. I welded 3-4 link lengths to fire pits so they could be staked or concreted in the ground to prevent theft. Bolt cutters would not cut such thick links.

Teaching her wigglinrocks ? What is that saying about a camel entering the eye of a needle ? I did make the first can like this. She sold it. Then insisted that I show her how to burn holes using the arc welder.(Can't have james laying claim to her product success). It was a demand lol. I submitted. Been there done that ?

There's a store here called Mills' Fleet Farm. Their unofficial slogan is "the man's mall". I think this place trumps fleet by a long shot!
Closest near me (that I know of) is a scrap metal place. They charge 35ยข/lb. Fun to pick through, interesting finds occasionally.
