Thank you Cody for getting this rolling and including me. I'm excited for it. Get to see and hopefully hold some beautiful rocks I never would of had the opportunity to, even just for a little while.

@garage Rocker
Looking good. Material you added is beautiful.
Tried posting this with a tag 3 times, but the "G" kept changing to lower case.

fernwood Below is Garage Rocker's real name. Hover over his name in his avatar, and you will see his real name. @ itumble4you I've separated it because it wants to change to Garage Rocker. Don't separate it when you type it.

I have the box ... I will repack it tomorrow and get it back on the road headed south y'all. Garage Rocker - quick question - what is this?

I was going to attempt some crude tile saw/Lot O cabs out of it, but couldn't make myself do it. Those pencil marks will erase. I assumed it was Turkish in nature. Bottom half looks like stick agate, but that fortification is nice, huh? I can give you my source, who can probably tell you for sure, if you'd like. Let me know.

Stop twisting my arm! ouch! stop that! Ok Ok I'll keep that piece! dang man, that wasn't nice.
My first thought was Turkish too but I have seen KY that kinda sorta has those colors - if you told me it was KY I was fully prepared to soil myself.

I have given away most of my KY agate. Wish I had more to share. What I have left isn't really that desirable for lapidary purposes. I'd like to see what you can do with this piece though.

I will try my best to do you proud. I've already got some really nice stuff picked out to go back in the box so I'll get some pictures up tomorrow.

Well, I know it was late when I sent out the messages with the address of the member who you were to mail the box to when you've finished with it... But I messed up. A lot. Like, 25% wrong/missing. On a list of only 12... Yeesh Didn't think I needed a flow chart and spreadsheet to keep track of this, but apparently I do. I've managed to miss TByrd entirely and didn't give fantastic5 melhill1659's address I also didn't give melhill1659 a person to send it to at all! So, sorry everyone! I'll be resending everyone that has yet to go a message with who you're ACTUALLY supposed to send it to. I'd say most of them are correct... But my track record of late doesn't inspire confidence. 😅 Sorry again!

OK the box is packed and ready to go to the post office. I only removed the turkish slab piece because Garage Rocker twisted my arm. I also took a chunk of Cody's flint because it's awesome and I can't wait to cut it but also because I needed more room in the box . I added mostly slabs... and one little chunk of Morgan Hill poppy jasper. Mariposite, Lavic, Sonoran Sunrise, dentritic jasper/rhyolite, Rhodonite, Cedar city agate, Utah wonderstone Montana agate, chunk of Morgan Hill, Holt Canyon, Burro Creek breccia, Owyhee picture jasper, Picasso marble MsAli there is a present for you personally right on top in the box. Thank you for joining in and for also for brightening up the forum since you joined us

Alright! I THINK I've got it straight this time... That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Please tell me if I messed up again! If you did NOT receive a new message from me, then I triple checked the message that I had sent to you previously and the address did not change. If you DID receive a message from me, then it contains the corrected information, or possibly the same address as before. Just wanted to be through!
Seriously sorry everyone, very unlike me to make such mistakes. I found out this week that starting monday I'm being moved to Night Shift, so I'll be even more scrambled, for a few weeks, than normal. Sorry in advanced!

Seriously sorry everyone, very unlike me to make such mistakes. I found out this week that starting monday I'm being moved to Night Shift, so I'll be even more scrambled, for a few weeks, than normal. Sorry in advanced! Don't even sweat it Cody. We all appreciate the work and energy you have put in to getting this rolling. Without going back and reviewing it, I think I remember in past games the person who had the box had to contact the person in front of them for their address and invariably things would grind to a halt for long periods of time. This is and promises to continue to be much smoother thanks to you. Just wait till it's the eighth or tenth time you've done it and you'll be like "who has the box and who's next?" Edit to add: bummer about going to nights. Are you OK with it or did it get forced on you? Been there done that back in the day - it can be very disruptive for a while.

Well I'm glad to hear it's going a little smoother.
I don't have a choice on night shift. Low man on the totem pole, so to speak. But I'll be okay.

Got the box!! ☺ Unfortunately I don't have time to go through it as much as I want right now. Don't think boss would understand me being late because I was looking at all the yummy goodness that's in here. Tommy this has to be one of the most amazing things I have seen. THANK YOU❤ You are way too kind!!! I'm like a little girl at Christmas right now......👐
