Chuck Conners , oh yes....He was a very talented individual. He was also an exibition shooter for the Winchester Rifle company for a short time before "The Rifleman" ..not to mention profesional basketball and a mulitude of other things.
Not one of the other actors who made a good living with a gun on the screen and then were activist against gun ownership............oops my soapbox...sorry

rollin' rollin' rollin', keep those doggies movin' head'em up, move'em out! Rawhide! (whip crack! yee hah)
agree all the way down the post, guys....loved Chuck Conners, do you remember the series he was in after the Rifleman called "Branded"?
Little Joe from Bonanza (altho Hoss was my fav guy) moved on to Mankado (sp?) to Little House on the Prarie for a long run series. i have actually been IN Mankado (once). right down the road is a town called Blue Earth. interesting countryside. also the Home of the Valley Green Giant (ho ho ho).

nope, don't remember that one....but i was a Man from U.N.C.L.E. fan....David Macallum was my first screen idol.
i was also extremely fond of "The Outer Limits" and "Twilight Zone" much to my mothers chagrin....i'd beg to stay up to watch it then have nightmares all night..

I am not old enough to remember when Rawhide came out, but I did hear it on several shows, it has been long enough that I don't remember the shows. Tami

Hey Sands, I think that was Steve McQueen who starred in that show. I can't remember the name of the show but Johnny Yuma doesn't ring any bells
