Very nice! I like that tear. What kind of plumbers glue did you use. I know they have some REALLY strong stuff on the market, but I never though to use it for mounting. You're on the right track there, I wouldn't even post my First attempt. Very nice job! It's great to see all this stuff everybody is doing. Very inspirational! Thanks!

the adhesive is Goop plumbers adhesive and sealant, I had it at the house because I used it on a leaky pipe a few years ago (go figure, I don't throw anything out) its in a purple tube, I have no idea where I bought it at, probably wal-mart

I got the bell cap, or whatever it is called *grin* with the toy tumbler I first got. I love that tear, it is my favorite for sure, I had a really nice piece of tiger eye too that a girl where I work kept staring at it, I finally couldn't stand her staring any more and gave it to her, she wears it everday, that's kinda kewl, but I really miss that tiger eye ;D

Blue angel, my first wraps were so much worse than anything you can imagine. You are off to a good start. Next wrap, try this. Get a phillips head screw driver. Polish it with 320 wet or dry. Take a piece of wire eight times the length of the stone. Find the middle and twist it from the center two times around the screwdriver. You should see the two wires meeting against each other on the same side. Twist these wires eight times to make a twisted neck. Wrap the stone in the fashion you like, twisting each wire end around the twisted wire of the neck. Twist the first wire one way, and the second wire the other way, on top of the first. Finish the ends with a swirl, pattern, or just cut the ends off. A good start. You can.

Some of the stones I wrap start with a God's eye for the bottom or the back with two wires or three wires which after wrapping the God's eye become four and six wires for wrapping around the stone.

Some one like to enlighten me as to what a 'Gods Eye' is? Maybe a pix or sketch? And Doc... I can not seem to get a visual image of what you are creating with a screw driver. All I seem to see is a figure '8' with one coil twice as thick as the other Thanks

Take yourself back to the seventies, that is when I learned how to do it. Back then you used sticks and yarn. I just use metal now. Here is a picture. Tami
