nice job! i have a batch of rose quartz in 6# barrel that's been on step 1 since jan. 31st. on feb. 11th i had to add blue quartz to fill it up. on feb. 21st i started to be able to pick out the ready ones but it wasn't enough to move on. on mar. 3rd i had to start adding green adventurine too to make a load. today i finally had enough ready to move on to step 2! all the rose and blue were ready and a few green. the rest of the green will have to wait cause i'm sooooo ready to move forward with this batch! i've been through 5#'s of rose, 5#'s of blue and probably a couple of #'s of the green adventurine. how long did yours take?

Thank you all. I really like what I see here on this board.
This batch was started about Christmas time, the small blue pieces are beryl, I forgot those were there, they are left over from the last batch. We rock hound for tourmaline and other crystals and I usually save out the gemmy looking quartz to tumble in the winter.
