Love the labels and names. Since I have typical male prostate issues I don't drink as much beer as I used to. When I'm enjoying beer by myself I drink Miller Light. Darkest color light beer and the most flavor. I hate Bud and Bud Light; they are too sweet tasting. Coors is acceptable but has no flavor. My local store has a beer of the month and you get a sponsored glass with a 12 pack purchase. Most recent was Kona and before that Long Trail. The Kona was a variety tasting pack with Lager, Golden Ale, Pale Ale and IPA; I like that. I tend to buy themed beer like Pumpkin and Blueberry because the kids seem to like it better when they visit. I like IPA(Harpoon) and Stout(Guiness) better than most of the ales but when I'm out I drink something I haven't had; especially in places with a big selection and descriptions of each.
I used to love going to McSorly's ale house in NYC; they had a light ale and dark porter; 2 small mugs for 35 cents the first time I was there! About the only decent ale in the area was Ballentine IPA. They were sealed with bottle caps that had concentration puzzles so you could judge your level of sobriety

Back home in winter we never put pop or beer in fridge. Just set outside and it was nice and cold

I am not really a beer snob. I reserve my snobbery for coffee (hence my avatar). I enjoy amber ales. - Bell's amber ale
- Fat Tire Belgian
- Bear Naked Ale (The brewery is about 90 minutes north of me)
- Full Sail Amber
- Red Parrot ale. - My wife and I had this five years ago when we went to Newport, RI for our 30th anniversary. It was *really* good, though my judgment may have been clouded because we were both tired, hungry, and thirsty.

I really like good beers. I don’t get too excited about typical American lagers. I prefer IPAs, stouts, porters, etc. I do not like wheat beers though. I like to buy different beers every time because I like the variety. For Valentine’s Day, my wife bought me twelve different beers. She doesn’t like beer, so I made her a heart shaped pendant. I just finished early good Bells Cherry Stout made right here in Michigan. At 9.3% alcohol, I can tell that I just had a drink. It was really good. I don’t tend to buy the same beer very often, but I like Founder’s Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale. I haven’t had it in years, because I can’t find it, but Mackeson Stout was really good,

I haven't had Miller, Bud or the like in a long time. Usually keep Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Sweet water 420 or Stella stocked in the fridge, though I'll pick up other IPAs or stouts from time to time. Whatever it is, it MUST be beer flavored, not cherry, blueberry, apple, hard lemonade, pumpkin, frazzleberry or any other fruit flavor. I'll buy a Zima if I want that, which I don't.

I don't drink often, and sometimes I'll have a glass of dry wine, so a 6 pack can last for a couple months, especially in the winter. Right now there's one Deschutes Jubelale seasonal, and a Shiner bock on hand. When I'm in the mood for a pint I get either Red Hook ESB or good old Guinness extra stout. Deschutes obsidian stout and Shiner are my go to brews in the summer, when I may have as many as 3 or 4 in a week when it gets real hot. I also require beer flavored.

I miss beer.
BD (Before Diagnosis)I used to savor a variety of beers. I don't remember them all... Belgian Abbey Ales and Raspberry Lambic Ales, English Stouts, Foggy Bottom Ale, Not Quite No. 9, something from the War College (?), lovely VT brews... Microbrews, mini-microbrews... sigh. Not so much IPAs, or Bud.
AD (After diagnosis of Celiac Disease), I gave away my beer collection. That was a sad day.
Fortunately, Angry Orchard hard ciders are pretty good.
