Yes, I believe minerken is still making the dops. I highly recommend them. My hands can't handle cabbing without a dop. Try it. I bet you like it.

Hi Ali minerken here, if you are interested I would absolutely work with you to try and get something to make it comfortable to do your cabbing. There is nothing worse than wanting to do something and being handicapped to the point that it's too painful. PM me if interested, and we'll discuss what you may need or want.

Hi Ken, thanks for jumping in. I tagged you with the hope you would do so. Your offer of working with me was nothing more than outstanding, and it's not forgotten. Hopefully you can work something out with Allison.

Miss Ali, nice job Love the eyes. Here's looking at you. That one came from you I am going to have to start watching my boxes more careful, first the tiger tail then the eye agate...waaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Kidding, I love to see people enjoy the rocks as much as I do.

Looks like you got christened into cabbing and sawing in short order and came out with some real gems. The Queens agates are beautiful and you executed the cabs so well. Wish I could help with the ID on Dallasite looking stone. I believe Dallasite patterns are from crystalline/dendritic mineral formations. I would guess your findings are similar and not fossiliferous patterns, but only a guess. In either case a giant rock for a wheel barrow lol. Great to see you got away for some adventure time.

Nice material and your work is very nice also!!!
I have some dallasite also... Your slab comes pretty close to it...
As for the Australian agate, it is killer material and a very hard agate too, works up great...Its the postage that eats you up when dealing with Pauls material...LOL
