Looks like a whole lot crammed into two weeks but it Looks like you did great. You will have to keep at it now that you are home so you don't forget too much. Looking forward to your future pieces. Forgive my intarsia ingnorance but what is the line near the top of the one on the left? Is that a seam? I would not expect a seam there. It looks like there are more pieces to the puzzle then just 5. I was originally thinking it was a rectangle cab with a top, bottom and 2 sides. Chuck You would be correct in that assumption Chuck. The middle stone is Marra Mamba Tigers Eye so it gives the illusion of more stones. I’m already putting my new skills to work. More to come...

I was wondering where you were. You were off getting a edumacation. Looks GREAT, too! I bet you had a lot of fun. Now I get how you put the stones in a round bracelet. Duh. What was I thinking before? Your intarsia looks awesome! And, so does that ring. Wowsers! Tela, Setting every stone is different. You want every stone to fit tight so with the snug fit and epoxy nothings comes out. It’s the most challenging thing I’ve learned/am learning so far. I’m thinking about taking a class this fall out in Sante Fe. Instructor said it will be good for my future.

Looks like you're a natural. I like your work. Half way through class I showed him the reason for taking the class. To ultimately make my one of a kind designer cuff: He looked at it, said I was a natural designer and metalsmith, that the piece could end up in a museum one day and to continue honing my skills. TRUE... who cares... I HAD CONFIDENCE BUBBLING OVER!

I was talking about the line that almost looks like a pencil line. This picture shows what I was asking about. Is that line a separation between stones? Chuck

Chuck Sorry it took me so long to respond Chuck. If you are talking about the separation in the blacks, yes that is my shotty newbie intarsia work. But you can’t see it just looking at them.

Like I said your skill set is growing exponentially! !! Thank You Bill! The bracelet is so hard to do I don’t see doing lots of them to actually sell. I’ll make a few when I have time for extra playing 😂

"Now YOU are the master!" Hahaha hardly but YOU ARE AWESOME for saying it!!! Muah I have 4 or 5 pendants cut out right now, ready to solder. I almost would prefer getting my teeth pulled than to make something I’ve already made 😂 Is that strange?

Great job on the intarsia work. Someday I'll try my hand at it. Until then, you carry the torch. Lynn
