I believe this is a new level of greatness Kurt! I think when this is done, I will wear it proudly (to use that term for the first time). I think when everything comes together, overall shape, recognizable features and polish to match, I can finally call this my Graduation piece. Outstanding. The eyes are perfect. In retrospect, they could have been bigger. Now I just have to figure out how to get an even mate finish on the heads (snout and inside ears I want to have polished)

What species of bats were they? Not sure, but I think they are listed here under Short-nosed Fruit Bats Google search for hong kong actually brings up a near identical grouping of four like in my own picture.

Love the moonstone eyes!
They look like Greater short nosed fruit bats (lesser, have a longer nose I think)
