I am having way too much fun with jamesp glass cabs. I only have this type of floss in red and green, so that limits the cabs I am doing this process with. The bail appears small in the photos, but it has about 1/8” diameter. Again, I tried to not have a front or a back for this. Still need to figure out how I can polish the popped glass bubble shown on the second photo. Thinking a little epoxy would fill it in and be glossy. I know that the wrap is a little uneven in places, but I can always remove it and make another. A prototype destined for refinement. Thank you jamesp for sharing your creations with me. Thanks to others for looking. 1 2

Good to see you tinkering with the glass fernwood. So many colors of glass and using colored threads makes good sense. The needle work must come natural to some. Guessing you will come up with some simple weaves that will capture a cab with ease. You might be blazing into new territory with the woven wrap.
