I call them crude, but better than the usual quality of crafters here. For lapidary work I make sure the wraps are tight and even. These will only sell for $5.00/pair. Matching necklaces the same price. Some crafters here sell similar earrings that are strug on thread with many knots to attach to the earrings for $3.00/pair. And yes, they sell them! Unbelievable. Their earrings are not surgical steel or hypoallergenic, like mine. Theirs are base metal or other materials which can cause ear infections. I will never sell anything that could cause harm. 1

Those are cute! Are the skulls fiberoptic?
No matter what you do, most people will not realize why the price difference between the cheaper stuff and yours. They'll buy cheaper to save money, but end up with junk. Stick to your guns!
I had made some inexpensive earrings and was toting them around to different sales venues for a few years. Very inexpensive, yet would only sell maybe one or two pairs per show. I ended up donating them to the rock club for them to do with as they wished - raffle, silent auction, give-aways, whatever. Then made note to self - don't do that again! It's one thing to break even, quite another to suffer a loss.

Skulls are ceramic glazed beads. Tomorrow will be receiving Turquoise, Magnesite and silver plated ones. Around here at the craft shows I sell a lot of the more inexpensive stuff. Still trying to get that break in to the art shows, where I know I could sell more of the quality items. Have ome local artist friends vouching for me, so that helps. Online, I have sold a few of the quality items. At one sale, sold a lot of quality items.
