jasoninsd . That looks like my jam making pot! I could definitely eat jam three days in a row! LOL - I love a butter and jam sandwich every once in awhile. It really does take me back to childhood days! Do you still make jam? And if so, what kind? My mother USED to make jam when we were growing up...apricot, strawberry, and Ollalaberry (aka Olallieberry). Those were all self-collected when we lived in California when I was a young child. After moving to South Dakota, jams switched to raspberry and chokecherry. Apricot is still my favorite on rolls...but strawberry remains my go-to for a PB&J! I quit making jam a few years ago. When we moved here about 40 years ago, there were two old apricot trees and a plum tree, and fig tree. What to do with all that? So I learned how to make jam. Apricot was the favorite. I also made strawberry jam. Good stuff! Mother-in-law made the best pickles. Learned how. Took two weeks, but the sweet pickles were so good, the kids wanted to eat them right out of the jar. There were 88 cucumbers in a lug. Lots of yum. It’s a lot of work., but Homemade is the best. When a daughter expressed interest, I gave it all to her. 😁 heh heh!

That was pretty smart of you, Pat The only jelly I make these days is Jalapeño jelly, using Mike Fossilman 's recipe. I tweaked it a little to make it hotter, lol. I'm sure it's in the recipe section. I make open faced sandwiches with it and peanut butter. Pretty good!

Then when you visit the restroom afterwards, while you are sitting there waiting, you're supposed to say, "C'mon, icecream!"
