I did a few sports card shows with my son and have no interest in spending a day selling lapidary or cabochons. As a buyer the trade off is inspecting the material but paying more for it.

When we put our website up we offered a 20% first-time-buyer discount. That was pretty well received.
Sorry I got off track a while ago. Rough and finished goods are two different markets. No haggling - at least not to the same extent - on finished goods, unlike bulk rough deals.
