My Allen/hex screw keeps backing out from it's place/hole in the pulley on the arbor for the blade. Should it be lined up with the indented part of the pulley? It also seems to be throwing grease? The side of the saw is a bit greasy. When it gets loosy goosey my saw blade stops mid cut and I have to tighten it up. Thanks

"Should it be lined up with the indented part of the pulley?" I don't know what you are referring to here, unless you have an adjustable pulley. If so, answer is yes. Please explain a little better. A drop of Loctite on the screw should keep it in place, fingernail polish in a pinch.

There should be a key that goes in the keyway on the shaft if your pulley has a keyway cutout on it also, that keeps the pulley from slipping on the shaft. Some pulleys dont have a keyway built into them so then you should get the set screw into the keyway on the shaft to keep it from slipping as easily. A little loctite on your set screw should keep it from coming loose, use the bue loctite not the red or you will have a very hard time getting it out later.

Bought some keystock and cut to fit. Still wants to loosen a bit.
