Last ones for now. These all appear to be the same or similar. In another thread HankRocks mentioned that Going through an old collection like this if fun, never know what you might find. There are probably a few bags that are from areas that are no longer open for collecting. These were in a bag labeled Apache Mines. I am loving going through everything. but finding many materials I am not familiar with. Some have the appearance of smelting slag. Did some research on Apache Mines, and it does not appear smelting was ever done there. The mine was operational from the 1800's to the 1950's. Deposits of: Copper Metallic Primary Silver Metallic Primary Bismuth Metallic Secondary Gold Metallic Secondary Lead Metallic Secondary Tungsten Metallic Secondary Zinc Waste material is listed as: Garnet Gangue/Waste Limonite Gangue/Waste Pyrite Ore Bismutite Ore Chalcocite Ore Chalcopyrite Ore Chlorargyrite Ore Chrysocolla Ore Galena Ore Malachite Ore Scheelite Ore Sphalerite So, what are these? Thank you.

This post prompts me to note that I thought of Hachita when I saw your post trying to decipher a label that you thought might be a Montana site. Considering you have other material from Hachita, I'd consider that sample as like from there too. FYI
