I think parfive has a plastic 3D printed vise on his BD-10 saw, like I said its a great Concept but the material needs to be Metal. Well, I suppose you’re close enough for horseshoes, Duke . . . It was actually lovingly handcrafted with a little help from a Bridgeport. . . or hand grenades. and it’s on a 14” Lortone drop saw.Original blocks still going strong, btw . . . twelve years and counting. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/15517/cost-slab-grabber

Yeah the Bridgeport is a Great Machine I am blessed with plenty of Machine Shop Buddy Friends that will make anything I need. It was great when the County paid for all my college years ago, I had taken like 5 machine shop classes, I always enjoyed them cause I was making things I needed. Making an adapter Vise like Bobby had would be Nice to grip stones at an Angle like you have shown. Then one thing I have to add by modifying the original Vise I was able to Integrate the bottom holes lower which doesn't sacrifice the height you can cut. The way they way I made the plastic blocks before was sacrificing cutting height. Doing then this way doesn't and it also more reliable and doesn't bend like plastic.
