I just may have to get one or two.... if I can ever find the room. Pretty reasonable, too.

That's a really nice box. Dovetails, even! Don't see that much anymore.

A great box to fill with polished rock slices. Looks so nice, I bet I could put it into my living room without an argument from my wife. ;-)

That is so nice and useful, too. Comes in several sizes. Outside dimensions not too big either.

Pretty fancy for the price. Certainly could not make one for that price. Looking at it thinking the bottom rails should be moved back so that two of these could be stacked and the top rails would interlock with the bottom rails. Chuck

Checked out the reviews. Hmmm... I did that, too. From the photos of some of the other models, it seems the adjacent door fronts rub against one another, so I can understand that complaint. Also comments about how shallow are the drawers (if they cannot even handle thicker pens, then that gives me pause. I've have some cheap wooden boxes and trays (made in China) for sorting and storage, and the bottoms on them are just very thin sheets of veneer that you can poke through with your finger, so I'd hope that they weren't similarly constructed (some of the comments reminded me of those). I'd love to have a nice steel or wooden flat file storage unit, but those cost $$$ - which I've never been able to convince myself is worth the splurge. If I were a devoted antiquer, Craigslist browser or roamed estate and garage sales, I might come across one, but I rarely do any of those things. I can dream of someday joining the "a place for everything and everything in its place" people, though.

I ran across this because there was a video by someone on instagram who uses them. She didn't seem to have problems with hers.
I'd LOVE to have a space for everything. I do pretty good with the space I have, but I could do better.

I use Riker boxes for cabs, but would be happy to jump for this wooden box if it were sturdier. Interesting dovetails were used.

I had my daughter use her Amazon Account to order me one. Will post photos and what I think of it upon arrival.

A simple wooden box and some pull tabs on the side of the rikers and your all set. Plus this way if I go to a show I can just pull all the drawers out that I want to take with me. I have some other projects coming up for the woodshop so I may add a couple of these just for fun. Chuck

Can't beat that convenience of just pulling out the rikers with the material you are taking to a show. Thanks for sharing the idea.

Thanks for the link, Chuck. My lack of woodworking tools and know how would prohibit me from making my own, lol. Good to know they can be purchased, ready to use.

Interesting dovetails were used. Those aren't really dovetails, but box joints (aka, "finger joints") which are easier to make and assemble than dovetails. Based on some of the photos submitted by buyers at the bottom of the page, the drawers themselves, where finger or dovetail joints are usually used to strengthen, do not have this type joint (just glued 90-degree joints). Drawer depth is 1.5 cm (about 0.6 in). According to the comments, drawer bottoms are paperboard and can sag when heavy items are stored. I'm so tempted to order one to see, but may just fight the urge.

You're forgiven if you make me one of those. I have a lot of riker boxes. LOL!
