Box arrived yesterday when I was at work. Just opened it. Overall construction is typical of items from China. Drawers are unfinished wood on the inside. Lots of excess glue. Some dividers are slightly curved. All drawers slide fairly easy. I plan on painting the interior of each drawer, then applying a clear coat. Will apply wax to the edges so they slide smoothly. For shows, will use two leather straps to hold the doors in place and a handle between them. Each drawer will be displayed with items for sale. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. One, slightly blurry photo shows where the 1/8" wood was attached for the bottom of drawer.

Wow! That was really fast! Thanks for the update. I have plenty of things made in China like that that have lasted despite the initial impression.

My daughter has Prime. 24 hr. shipping on most items. Had it shipped to me. All of the glue joints are solid. I even pushed down on the bottom of one drawer a little and it is solid.

I just went ahead and got the 10 drawer. My work area is covered with small things. I hope I can use it in my space. If not DH might can use it. I had points, too, so it was cheaper. I think it's worth the price even with a few slight issues. Sticking drawers are no biggie to me. That's what beeswax is for.

It's Sid approved! There were a few issues with it that were easily taken care - not a biggie. The bottom was warped, but it is easy to flip everything over. With the warp, the top drawer stuck but when I took the two middle dividers out, it didn't stick anymore. All those loose thingies now have a place. I even bought a word spitter to label everything.

I pretty sure the cat isn't going to stay there(one of the loose thingies) and I am positive it will not take to being labeled!!

The second one is probably the same. I had points on my amazon card and I'm addicted to 2 day shipping. So, I got mine on Amazon.

Will you post pics once you put your cabs into it? They're so amazing!

Will you post pics once you put your cabs into it? They're so amazing! I don't have as many cabs in it as I do all the misc small things that were kinda laying around get knocked by Sid. Plus, I was able to get rid of a couple racks that held small things like files and saw blades. I'm hoping in the Spring that I can get back to soldering.

I store cabs in riker mount. I smoke cigars so I have a large assortment of various size wooden cigar boxes; slide top and hinged with a latch. I use them for slabs, templates, dop sticks
