Yes, I can just see that evolving. I recently made a mess with a similar white substance. Was making some pork chop suey and needed to get the box of corn starch down off a high shelf (use it infrequently). I normally have a step stool in the kitchen, but my DH has it out in the truck, to facilitate getting in and out in his condition.) So I used a 15" forked plastic kitchen spoon to knock it off the shelf to me. Are you with me so far? So far so good. It was after I it used when the problem started. I tossed the box up (about three feet up) in the air towards the cabinet and shelf where it came from. The box decided it didn't want to catch on that shelf, and tumbled down towards the counter and stove top. Just to mess with me for the rough treatment I had just given it, the box opened, and the bag containing said corn starch opened up and spilled everywhere , on all horizontal surfaces, and some not so horizontal. I learned my lesson - if I don't have the step stool to use (it is STILL in the truck), I will use the gripper thingies that old people use, lol. Ha! I need to take them shopping with me sometimes. I think the people at Walmart Neighborhood Market about have a heart attack when they see this old woman climb up into my cart to retrieve items on the top shelf that are pushed too far back to get, lol. Lmao at trying to throw it back up on the shelf. Did you think you were at the carnival and gonna win a prize? And you need to stay out of the shopping cart. Omg your’re an accident just waiting to happen.

This is kinda gross, but reminds me of Jean and her box of snow. Some years ago, my sister climbed up onto the counter and slipped. When she came down, her full weight slammed onto the hand that was underneath her on the counter at such an angle and with such force that her thumb popped. Yup, the tip of her thumb burst open and was gushing blood. It was such a mess that I almost lost my lunch. We still haven't quite figured out how it happened. That's just as near as we could figure. Needless to say, she has a step ladder now.

What is so stupid is I have one of those, but it is out in the truck! Guess I should bring it in and make use of it.
They say you should learn something new everyday. Like when to use a stepladder...

I saw this morning there is still cornstarch behind some boxes on the counter that didn't get cleaned up yet. I am not a stickler on housecleaning.

Another successful week of not being addicted to house cleaning.

I love their commercials I love their commercials, too! Every time one comes on I ask Vince if he wants me to get him some of those. He always just says a very sullen NO!

I buy them. They do nothing for plumber's butt but they are thick, quality, and long lasting

amygduleNow that looks like fun. On top of the gas station today... I couldn’t resist digging down through the snow and checking out the river rock. But that was a good day for you, and good job carrying out the styrofoam. Worthy of its own thread really.

The first agate picture looks like a tangerine jelly belly with a tiny twig stuck in it.

One good thing about raising four kids- we don't have to buy many toys for the grandson. Playing with legos is almost a daily ritual when he comes over. And yep, they still hurt just as bad when stepped on. He looks like a keeper. Legos are right up there with Spirograph. We made LEGO shooters out of 2x6 blocks (with 2x2 tunnel) kinda gross but the LEGO’s would sure fly.

Now it’s Dora this and my little pony that. 4 yo boy doesn’t have the fine motor skills for LEGO yet.

A very worthwhile walk, for you and in a sense the rest of us. Thank you. That much nice Carnelian on one walk is quite a day.

Great carnelian finds and a good deed as well. Three thumbs up for you! I always try to clean up the trash when I would be out fishing at different places. People litter so much and then wonder why there’s no trespassing signs posted all over the place.

Photos from today. Some snow. Note that there photos are from the wind tunnel, so lots of the snow drifted away. Official measurement from protected area was 6.5" and it is still snowing. Heavy stiff is yet to come, later this AM. A coating of ice in some places. My beautiful Sierra loves the snow and cold. Was in play mode this AM. I had to play with her for a while. She reminds me how special new snow is. She also received some special treats.
