RickB. What is your wife’s story?? Pat, I had to have a chair because I was knapping and had serious back issues - lots of titanium in my back now. Maggie took my wife's chair and she wouldn't give it back to her. Charlene ended up with the luxurious and comfortable 48 quart Gott cooler. She's jokingly told this story several times and makes it sound like I gave Maggie her chair and made her sit on the cooler. We have three chairs now. Maggie

They much prefer a comfy camp chair to the hard and sometimes rocky ground. My dogs were always sitting in our chairs. They raised us right.

rockpickerforever here's a photo that I've used in an older avatar that was taken about 2009. We were camping on top of the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC near Spruce Pine. Went there as the campground was close to where we were digging at the Crabtree Emerald Mine in Crabtree Meadows. Ashley was a smart girl too and had her own folding chair. I slipped the Elton John's on her and took this photo.

I have non-digital photos of my dogs in camp chairs, but they are away in a photo album. They also loved to chillax on this padded lounge. These are the last three dogs I had, all gone now.
L - R - Spunky, Cricket, Lucy at Alamo Lake campground
This is my SIL's dog, Cali. She loved her balls, too.
And sometimes Cricket would share the double camp chair (Bob called it the "drunk chair") with me.
Miss those and all the other dogs....

Somewhere I have photos of my cats in their chairs. They each had their own recliner in my living room. Became very upset when I needed to sit on one of the recliners.

A few years ago I scattered some black raspberries that had dried out in hopes of starting my own bushes. I picked them from a neighbors property. The bushes have been flourishing. They are naturally pruned when snow/ice falls off my roof onto them. Last year, I picked about 10 gallons of berries from these bushes. This year there are many more buds than last year. The plants are extremely healthy. I shared plants that had gone into an area I usually mow with others. In the past, most of the berries were large and full of flavor. I use no pesticides or weed killers on my property. I love having my favorite berries just outside my front porch door.

This is crazy bird! Don't know what kind it is, but if it keeps this up, it's going to be dead bird.
For no apparent reason, this bird keeps jumping up, launching itself into the side view mirrors on both the Ford truck, and the Pacifica.
He jumps up, flies at them, crashes into them, marking them all up. There are no nests nearby, nobody is harassing him, no people, no other birds, cats, anything!
This has already been cleaned off once, before I put a bag onit.
All the mirrors were covered on Saturday, but the covers fell off, blew off - were pulled off? - yesterday. Once we covered the mirrors, I noticed him across the street crashing into the mirrors of my neighbor's car parked on her driveway.
Overnight, the dang bird sat on the right side mirror of this car, and shit all over the door!
I'm tired of it, and I guarantee you, he is not going to win!

very strange haven’t had that problem & usually I’m ahead of the curve...mostly must be this type of bird very aggressive never heard of a bird attacking an inanimate object guess it is a known phenomenon guess that see their image first I’ve heard of it which bring up an interesting question if you could paint a dot on its head would it recognize itself and stop attacking ? or are they self masochist?

mohs - I bought the truck from my folks. They didn't need it anymore. I think the bird causing the damage on this one was a European Starling...they're pretty common here in South Dakota...borderline nuisance bird...
