captbob Does the 3000 rpm version have the same pulley sizes? Motor the only difference? Cause that would be twice as fast and that would be hauling. Pretty sure they use the same pulley. Motors are 1550 and 3000. Beware, 1550 most likley has about twice the torque of a 3000. If they the amp ratings are the same for each motor then it is a fact. I agree with captbob, faster for coarse grind. A vibe and a fast rotary is my favorite set up. It is easy to fill the barrel a bit fuller on a fast rotary to make the tumble more gentle at faster speeds. Ex. A 20 rpm barrel 70% full is not going to shape rocks as fast as a 40 rpm barrel 80% full. Yet the faster speed 80% fill will be gentler. Faster ROR(rate of rub) By the way my in-law HVAC man damaged a part in my heat pump due to being forced to sweat a copper joint in a tight space. Engineers should be supervised during final design by repair savvy people for this reason. Ex. Early model Chevy V8 Monza must have engine lifted to replace all spark plugs. Engineer should be lifted by a noose.

Thank you jamesp. I bet it was the reversing valve. You almost have to do all the welding external to the HP, then couple the “spider” in there. Resi units are engineered for efficiency (numbers on the sales sheet), quietness, and low cost/planned obsolescence. Ease Of Service? Never heard of that guy. (Hehe) Thankfully commercial is quite abit better. Kind of like when I worked on Mack trucks and then tried to work on a Honda car. Big difference.

I believe it was the mixing valve knave. He showed it to me. He said it may cause damage prior. Terrible location.

My Winter Wonderland. Over 1.5" of snow for 2 days each. Then about 3.5" overnight. Total of 6.5" for 3 days. A little ice mixed in due to rain. Will be plowed out before I need to leave for work today. Light snow and ice fog now. Traffic moving slowly.

Was plowed out. Love my new plow person. He understands the needs of 4 legged people. Is doing extra plowing for no charge for access. He has some cows, dogs, so is paying special attention so my tenant has access to his cattle and those of his sub lessor's cattle. Also plowing extra space by my dog and horses. Communication is excellent.
He spends time with my dog and horses so they feel comfortable around him.
I am so happy.

"I guess she’ll keep me another week." She'll keep you until your warranty runs out.

Polished up some shells in my Lortone 6 lb tumbler today. Most of these had little to no shine when I started. Picked the sand and shell out of them and washed them a couple times. Tumbled them for six hours in cerium oxide polish. Cleaned out the tumbler and burnished them for an hour with water and ivory soap. They really are shiny but I couldn't get a great photo of the shine. The shells are lettered olives (the SC state shell) with three moon shells in there. We have filled some glass lamps up with these before and wife uses them in crafts. This is the Shell Tumbling Hobby board?

From Avery. I love playing with the big colorful balls. They were even on a standy thingy for me. I could hold on to that with one hand and push the balls with the other. When I was not playing with the balls, I got to watch Grandma throw one. It then hit some things. When she got all of the things down, the big people were very happy. I got to play with some little people. Grandma was the first person to pick something out of the toy bag. She got more of the things down with the ball than anyone else. She was also given a couple other things for doing better than anyone else getting the things down. I met many new big and little people. Had lots of fun.

Avery sure has a sweet smile. A happy baby is a wonderful thing. He was laughing a lot yesterday. It was his first time in a bowling alley. He loved pushing the balls on the rack.

Spending the day on the phone TRYING to get some info on services from the VA. Uncle Bobby (98) isn't doing too good. We need to get someone in there to help him a few times a week. I hear the VA will help with that, but good luck finding out how. Anyone know of any tricks?

I must have missed it when I was looking down one rabbit hole after the other. Also, contacted some nice people at the American Legion. It's gonna be an uphill battle getting him help, but it's owed him and he needs it.
