Oh sure, he lets you think everything is sunny side up, but it scrambles my mind and boils (hardly!) my blood just thinking about the stunts he pulls like how he poaches memes. Don't let him pull a quiche on you and don't let him off scotch free.

I have a feeling before this is all over, I'm going to have egg on my face...in more ways than one! LOL

The President Clay azaleas are the last ones to bloom around our house as they are in shade most of the time. The blooms are peaking right now.

Did you have that omelet yet? No dangit! LOL - We've got a doozy of a storm today, so I might try and steer her towards "breakfast night" tonight! LOL I'm hoping you can snag some pics of the gators! I know I've said it before...but I can't say thank you enough for the gator pics! They are absolutely fascinating creatures to me!!

Two for the road from last year or so jasoninsd. They love chicken and will eat the crabbing hoops and traps to get some. From April through August we will spend a total of 10 weeks in the area. We see them around the campground sometimes early in the morning. People spotted one a few years ago around the campground dumpster which is close to the salt water marsh. Chicken juice/water dripping on this guy. Trap is 5-6 feet above him. This one got my folding crab trap and is eating it. Stainless steel with netting, it is closed so it's 9"x12". When open, it measures 12"x18". The piece of steel that is visible in his mouth is 9" long so his head is at least twice that long.

I know it's been said many times by many people...but what fascinates me every single time I see alligators or crocodiles is the fact they're actually living dinosaurs! The raw power they possess is awe inspiring. During the same time they have stayed somewhat consistent with regards to evolutionary changes, humans have not only come into existence...but they have changed drastically. Basically, it makes me think gators got it "right" from the start! LOL

I saw the first robin yesterday and there was no snow on the ground. That dang robin lied about it being Spring! Wicked snowstorm today - wind howling causing drifts like crazy...but then 50s this weekend...then another foot plus of snow forecasted for Mon/Tues! All I can do is shake my head.

Snow must fall upon the Robin's tail 3 times before Spring has come.

jasoninsd All right Jason, you’re leaving us all in suspense! Has the ladies seen the eggs yet?! You beat me to it! LOL So...tonight we were standing in the kitchen deciding on what to have for dinner. I mentioned we didn't have any bacon or sausage, so breakfast night would be out. "We" (She!) decided we should have leftovers. So, while those were being nuked, I told her when I thought about it, I wasn't sure if we had enough eggs for breakfast night anyway. She opened the fridge, looked at the carton and said, "Yeah, we've got a whole dozen eggs". I let it go for a couple minutes, then said, "You just looked at the outside of a carton of eggs and without looking inside, told me we had an entire dozen eggs! How the heck do you know how many eggs we have if you didn't even look?" She realized she'd just got caught making crap up, so she opened the carton to "verify" how many eggs were in there. She didn't stop laughing for five minutes! LOL I told her the entire forum has been waiting for days for her to need eggs for some reason! LOL
