I work outside and it has been cold and rainy. It almost reached 60 degrees yesterday so I got in about an hours work. I have no idea when I will be able to resume. I can't even take pictures of already made cabs. I picked up about 4 pounds of Blue Biggs on ebay yesterday and a small piece of Butterfly Wing. I slabbed a few slices off the Biggs cube and made a preform (third from left top row). It is dark. It is frustrating to have nice material to work on and not be able to do anything. My Genie lamp quit working and the bulb burned out on my free standing light.

I feel your pain. Just got my tumbler and now it’s been to cold to use it. Can’t wait til the cold season is over. I’m dying to finish my first batch of rocks.

The Butterfly arrived today. This is the best scene and there is a lesser one on the other side.
