What is something like this worth? The customer wants a glossy finish but I am leaning towards a slight re-shape on some of the angular outer edges first, but I don't want to ruin their experience with the stone as it is

Polychrome jasper can be bought at $3 or $4 (or more) a pound at large shows...slabs a little more. And it takes a great shine. But if it is someone else’s rock, ask permission to do what you think would be best. Personally, I would grind the sharp edges also before polishing...but not all would. Best of luck!

I was thinking all the right angles and such could be rounded a bit. Also, the back and sides are a bit rough. Looks like it's an end piece.
I could run it in the Lot O for about 8 days in 120/220 to clean it up, or half a day in 46/70, 120/220 for another 12 hours... and then the rest.
This is turning into a tumbling thread, isn't it? haha
