Doesn’t merit its own thread but I’m not a hijacker. Just boot me out if needed. I bought new wheels for my boys scooter. 2 for $10, ball bearing. Built to handle 200 lbs rolling on them. I’m sure they would make good end rollers but I can’t thing how to make them into the drivers. Razor Scooter Replacement Wheels... www.amazon.com/dp/B000FNNZJK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

knave 4 inch diameter is a bit of a large diameter for a rotary barrel driver even if you did freeze the ball bearings. You might need another pulley reduction. Cause if you do the math for a 1725 rpm motor(or 900/1150/1500 rpm motors) the shaft to barrel diameters make a good reduction ratio. Example would be a 1 inch shaft turning a common 8 inch barrel makes for a 1/8 reduction(1725/8)= 215 rpm. Then calculate the reduction from the motor/shaft pulley: Once you are down to 215 rpm a common 2.5 inch motor pulley belted to a say 12.5 inch shaft pulley makes for a 2.5/12.5 = 1/5 of 215 = 43 rpm barrel speed. In other words the shaft to barrel reduced the motor speed 1/8, and the pulleys reduced the motor speed again by 2.5/12.5 or 1/5. To get final ratio multiply 1/8x1/5 or .125 x .20 x 1725 = 43 rpm If you went from a 1 inch shaft to a 1/2 inch shaft it would reduce the speed from 43 rpm in half to 21.5 rpm. Or if you went from a 1 inch shaft to a driven 4 inch razor wheel it would increase the barrel speed 4 x43 = 172 rpm. It could be done but it would take some unconventional pulleys or an unusual motor speed or both.

When are those barrels going to be ready?
