What are your recipes for using the MT-10 minisonic vibrating tumbler? How much grit to use, ceramic media, length of time, etc.

I have the Lot-O, but I can’t believe it would be all that different. Here’s what I do. Preshaped or coarse ground rocks to 3/4 full. Fill with water then pour out all excess water so rocks are wet but not in standing water. 1 - 2 TBSP 120/220 Grit 1 TBSP Borax Turn on, adjust action by adding ceramics or in your case adjust speed control. Run for 2-3 days. Wash all. Run with 1 teaspoon 500AO, 1 teaspoon borax for 3 days, wash. Run with 1/2 teaspoon polish, 1 teaspoon borax for 2-3 days, wash in warm water, burnish if desired.

The MT-4 uses one four-pound hopper as opposed to your two, but the hopper loading should be the same. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/81140/mini-sonic-amount-grit-stage
