Good trip report. Looks like it was fun. I'm getting barn sour and I'm ready for a similar adventure.

Great report Brian beefjello . You always seem to get into some great stuff when you go out. When I went through the area a couple of months ago, I saw the steam plumes. I assumed those plumes were from a cogeneration plant. I had no idea it was a nuclear plant. Is that the Palo Verde Plant? In any event, congrats on your finds. As a side note, my parents are outside of Tucson. If you don't mind, I'll drop you a line the next time I'm passing through the area. At a minimum, lunch. If hounding comes into play, that works for me as well.

Thanks for the trip coverage, nice to see dry ground. We've had one dry day so far this year. Looks like some really nice patterns in your finds.

Right on Brian
Definitely a
Stop the Car \ trip
Pelicans !
Been wanting to go out the water reserve to see them
I’ll never forget my first rock-hounding trip to that Fourth of July spot
I recall that story about finding the weather balloon radar previously
Your rock radar is still radiating
Keep on rolling & I'll See ya down that rocky road

Love the bridge. So many like that are being replaced.
The agates are wonderful.
Thanks for the great trip report.

WOW! What an interesting trip! Both Ina and me are civil engineer - Ina specialised in bridges and me - in hydraulic structures. So, you can imagine how interesting we find your pictures. If you can send me those pics (and maybe some others if you have) on e-mail, it will be great.
I think you have my e-mail, but I'll PM it to you anyway.
Thank you,
Adrian
PS. I was "caught" so much by the bridge & dam pics that I forgot to look closer at the rocks. Spectacular bandings in those agates!

Nice Brian! Tons of Gila Monsters south of the dam. Did you see any? It's correct time of year maybe a little late
